Terms & Conditions

Please read all terms and conditions before submitting your request!

General Terms

  • I reserve the right to decline any requests for any reason. This includes forms that I have already accepted as commissions.

  • Requests will be taken on a seasonal basis when commissions are open. They can be subject to be declined/put on hold at any time if I am not able to accept it.

  • Commercial commissions will be priced differently. After filling out this form and choosing commercial options, you will be contacted regarding discussion of your needs.

  • Crypto/non-fungible token (NFT) and blockchain related requests will be denied. I don’t want to associate my art with this type, and any use of my art in this manner before and after a commission will result in a permanent ban from commissioning me.

Payment

Prices are in USD. Current online payment methods accepted are:

  • PayPal (recommended)

  • Venmo

  • Ko-fi

Payment for commissions must be at least 50% or paid in full after accepting the request. I will send a PayPal invoice or Venmo QR code for payment. I will not start a commission until at least partial payment is received.

Timeline/Delivery

Commissions will normally take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months, depending on my schedule and the amount of detail. Due to scheduling, this timeframe can be extended up to 6 months, so please be prepared for this. Commissions can have a deadline, but it should be at least 2 weeks from the time the request is sent and should be noted in the form. If deadlines are not specified beforehand, or if the turnaround time is too short, I may not consider the commission or a rush fee may be applied.

 

Sketches will be given at the start of the commission, at which one can be approved or changed. After the sketch is finalized, I will finish the commission. I will show progression images that will be watermarked and of lower quality. You will have the chance to make up to 2 major changes (colors, adding/removing things, etc.) to the commission; any additional changes will be charged an extra fee.

 

After the potential final version is approved, I will send the high-quality image as jpg and png files in 3000x3000 px with 300dpi. These will be sent via email.

Acceptable Use

The Artist (Camille of Sweet Donuts Art) reserves the rights to:

  • Copyright as an artist to the complete work

  • Post the commission on social media for promotion and marketing

  • Deny requests and stop commissions for any reason

  • Work at a pace that works for me (please don’t rush a commission, I’m a part time artist with a full-time job unrelated to art)

  • Change prices at any given moment

The Commissioner (you, the client) reserves the rights to:

  • Personal Use

    • Use of the commission as an icon/avatar, banner, etc. on social media with credit to the artist

    • Use of the commission for phone wallpapers or backgrounds

    • Post on social media while giving credit to the artist (tagging me)

    • Print the commission for private use, such as a wall print

    • DO NOT sell, distribute, edit, alter, trace, repost my artwork without permission and pass it off as your own; this will result in a permanent ban from commissioning me

    • DO NOT use my art in cryptocurrency or NFTs. No exceptions.

  • Commercial Use

    • Use for the commission as promotional, advertisable, or sellable material (page banners, icons, merchandise designs, etc.) for a business must be reported upfront to me before starting the commission

    • Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of the commission and a partial to no refund depending on how far I get into the commission

    • Pricing will be at least 2x-3x the base prices depending on what is needed and how it will be used

Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds are allowed during the sketch phase. If you need to cancel during this time, then you will receive a full refund. Once the sketch is finalized, however, the commission is nonrefundable. If I am unable to start or finish the commission for any reason, such as personal issues, work or sickness, then a refund will be allowed in that case as well.
